ACTIVITIES:

Since today was a sensory activity/play time, I had different areas set up with different activities. I really had wanted to go outside, but the weather just is not cooperating again this week.  It wasn't raining, but it was dreary and cool, and it had been threatening sprinkling.  If we had been able to go outside, it would have been easier to set the activity stations up and clean up would have been a little simpler.  As it was I couldn't really put the activities on the floor for clean up purposes and also the carpet on the floor, even if I would have put a plastic mat down.  We did fine with tables, but the kids had to use chairs and that's always awkwardness. The kids are troopers though.

If we'd been able to go outside I wanted to also just have a water play area of pouring, etc., as well as shaving cream.  I tried to make some "oobleck" with cornstarch and water, but I put too much water in it so it didn't work. 

We had a good time.
